Origin of a great company

Microfibres has been founded in the USA in 1926 as a family owned and run business and rapidly became the largest supplier of synthetic velour in the world mostly since 1975, under the leadership of its actual owner and President, Jim McCulloch.

Microfibres Europe, situated in Laarne, Belgium, joined the Microfibres Group in 1995, contributing additional know-how to the group and consolidating its international presence. Ideally placed in the heart of Europe, we manufacture and market the unique Microfibres® velour.
